Bars and Nightclubs of Ocho Rios
The nightlife in the bars and nightclubs of Ocho Rios is slightly different when compared to the rest of Jamaica. The crowd usually comprises of visitors from the cruise ships docked at the harbor. But that does not mean the bars and nightclubs are not happening or great places to hang around with friends. Land of the jerk chicken and reggae legend Bob Marley, Jamaica is the land of music, dance, and fun on the beaches under the starlit sky.
Most of the bars and nightclubs are within the big resorts on the island. Most of the local talents too are often hired by these resorts. So, if you want to enjoy some good music then head to one of the resorts here like the Jamaica’N Me Crazy within the Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort & Spa. However, as most visitors here would agree, getting access to these resorts is not easy as entry most often is restricted to their guests and select few others. One gets to watch “Ochi” come alive at night to the beats of soca dancing and reggae music.
Fortunately, there are a few bars and nightclubs in Ocho Rios like the Margaritaville Caribbean Bar & Grill, which has branches in Ochi and MoBay and are not run by individuals or part of any resort. An ideal place to hangout with friends it is a popular hangout with most partygoers. Another place where visitors can let their hair down and enjoy is Amnesia, where as the name suggests you can forget everything and just have fun. Most of the visitors will agree that a night of partying in Ocho Rios is a different experience and one that cannot be easily forgotten.
