iPhone Could Start a New Phase of Technology

While iPhone is not the most successful smartphone currently, being behind Blackberry in market share, it may reach that level soon. iPhone is famous for giving many additional facilities depending on the interests of the users. To add to it, Apple has recently decided to use Near Field Technology for iPhone which will allow it to connect to and control other electronic devices.

If a communication sticker is put on an electronic device and fed with the necessary information, iPhone could merely be touched to it to allow a video to be streamed on the TV. The process involves the connection between the two devices discovering the web link for the video and thus streaming it. This, according to many, is the future of technology and especially iPhone.

What iPhone lacks currently is a patent to launch the technology. Its current patent does not involve this and therefore, Apple has applied for a patent for this technology. It has not got a patent yet and is not sure that it will get one.

However, if Apple manages to get a patent for the use of Near Field Technology which allows communication between devices at small distance, especially by touch, it could start a whole new phase of technology and change the modes of entertainment and communication.
