Jackets – Some Styles Never Go out of Favour
One of the most interesting styles on offer this season is the white blazer. To recreate the classic look, try adding a 1950’s style skirt along with a t-shirt and a pair of kicking pumps. For a more contemporary look, simply add skinny jeans, shoe boots and finish with a beaded top.
The leather jacket will always be seen as a classic style and perennial favourite. Try adding a pair of tailored trousers or, as an alternative, a tailored skirt finished off with a sharp t-shirt. For the latest look, simply add a pair of jeans and a pussycat bow blouse. You cannot go wrong with a leather jacket in your wardrobe; they never go out of fashion and they are so versatile.
If you are blessed with a slim, petite figure, then try wearing a jacket and bottoms of the same colour. The monotone look from head to toe adds height to a small figure. You will also find that a hip-length, fitted peplum jacket will be best suited to your frame.
Tip: If you’re feeling brave, pick a bold floral print jacket and team with understated accessories. Waterfall shapes are super flattering and ruched sleeves on jackets ooze relaxed glamour.
